What is it going to cost?

You may have heard of sky-high prices for ghostwriting, or of
prices too low to cover the cost of getting the job done well.

The cost of producing your ghostwritten book for you inolves the following processes:

  1. Collecting information to include in your book (from written notes, typewritten pages, telephone conversations, email notes, clippings, and other sources.)
  2. Preparing drafts, telephone information, reviewing text, making changes, considering the order and emphasis of points made, applying illustrations.
  3. Formatting and designing the pages for a professional printed-in-America look
  4. Editing, changing, updating, fine-tuning
  5. Legal considerations
  6. Cover design
  7. Foreword, if needed; index, if needed; acknowledgements, if needed
  8. Printing and binding

Every ghostwriting project is a custom job, but in general you should plan on receiving a projected cost based on the number of words in the book, the type of printing and binding you prefer, and the number of books you need.
